Media and Creativity Coordinator

We are AMPED that Pearl Luymes is on our Disciple a City team! Pearl, as our Media and Creativity Coordinator captures and shares the stories of transformation we are experiencing. Her work inspires us to obey Jesus and make new disciples! If you have seen any Disciple a City media, you should know that Pearl has played a significant role developing it. More than this, Pearl and her husband Christian have helped shape the culture of this ministry by their humility and hunger for the Lord!

Adam Shepski

Disciple a City Director

Adam is one of the founders and the director of Disciple a City – a ministry that equips believers/churches/teams to reach the lost and make new disciples. After leading in local, national and international teams with Youth for Christ, he (and the DAC team) are focusing to foster and model a evangelistic kingdom culture that leads people to Jesus and serves the body of Christ. 

Adam and Melissa have three boys, Elijah, Caedmon and Rees and live north of Peterborough, Ontario.

Carol Devey

DAC Prayer Walking Coordinator

If evangelsim is dynamite, prayer is the fuse. Carol Devey has taken a role with Disciple a City to equip and mobilize believers to pray for the entire Kawartha region. Carol leads and communicates with 150+ (and growing) prayer warriors across the county who regularly pray for individual salvations and city wide justice issues.

Carol and her husband Bill are Kingdom Champions.

Sarah Barr

Team Assistant & Sending Coordinator

Sarah Barr is a generous listener and woman of courage. Sarah serves churches, leaders and individuals by sending them DAC teams, training and encouragement as they begin to live missionally and make new disciples. If your team, church or event would like a DAC team to assist and develop your evangelistic culture, send Sarah and email.

Curtis & Sylvia Hartshorn

Curtis is our Training & Resource Creator.

Sylvia is our City Training Coordinator.

Curtis and Sylvia are an expert church planting and disciple making team. They work with E3 Partners Canada who has gifted them to help strengthen the work of Disciple a City. Beyond their radical obedience to faithfully share the Gospel literally everywhere they go, Curtis and Sylvia have helped numerous leaders in our city begin discipling new believers and lead their own outreaches. In additon to training individuals and churches, Curtis and Sylvia develop tools and training to help move believers into God’s mission.
